Firsts

One of the advantages of being the farm geek is that not only do I get to taste some of the first arugula of the season, but I also get to be the first to play with err I mean post on our new web blog.

Many of you have told us that you want to know more about the farm. What is the farm like, what is growing now, what are our plans, who are we? We are hoping that this blog will be a step in answering some of your questions. Talking to us at the farmers' markets, reading our newsletters and visiting us at the farm are other means. As the farm grows larger, we are becoming even more aware of how important the relationship with our consumers is. As our season sifts into high gear, we are re-dedicating ourselves to providing you not only with the tastiest produce but also friendly, knowledgeable and efficient customer service.

We hope that you find this blog informative and interesting. We are also excited about the community aspect of blogging. We invite you to post your comments here about our farm, organic produce and the sensual delights of delicious food. In the past several of you have asked for a mechanism to share recipes. We hope to be implementing that in the near future. We are looking at using the blog to distribute CSA information instead of the mailing lists. Let us know what else that you would like to see and we will see what a farm geek can implement.
